Near of the end of this winters, Nadra Ridgeway ask me, if I want to sew their new fabric collection and join in in her blog tour. Yes, I want! The colors of the new collection look likes so much of spring! The timepoint was just perfect. I love it to sew fresh and springlike fabrics before the spring begins!
P.S. For all my english readers:
Unfortunately, my English is not so good, but I hope you understand me ;-)
And now I can show you what I sew with this wonderful "Backyard Roses" fabrics.
Hardly after the fabrics had their journey from Riley Blake to me behind they, they was already cut and sewn.
Ich wusste sehr schnell, was ich daraus nähen will.
I knew very quickly what I want to sew it. A sampler of different Thimble Blossoms Pattern it had to be.
At patchwork weekend in Randersacker I sewed still on the binding and could then make then all these photos on the beautiful patio of the inn.
I like the mint / red / white striped fabric for the binding.
I take a pantograph pattern with roses for the quilting. I think, it match perfect...
It made me a lot of fun to sew this quilt. Many thanks Nadra that I could be there!
